Planted Some Seed Elephant Garlic. My 1 pound of seed garlic came in the mail yesterday from Clove County Farm. Elephant garlic is in the leek family but has a composition and flavor that more resembles actual garlic. The good news is that elephant garlic grows to be huge! I still have about 11 or so elephant garlic clove seeds left to be planted. Also, was it too late to plant these cloves? Filed under NC Gardening.
